Why the bill case is thin here
Batteries earn the most where exports are undervalued or evenings are expensive. Loveland’s monthly netting with carryforward means exports already count kWh for kWh until December. Unless your rate plan charges more in the evening, a battery shifting solar saves little.
When it’s still worth it
Backup is the reason. We size to the circuits you can’t lose, and we price all three batteries we install: Powerwall 3 (13.5 kWh, about $19,000), Enphase (about $17,000 for 10 kWh), and SigEnergy ($15,500 for 9 kWh). The 10% state credit and sales-tax exemption lower the net cost for 2026 purchases.

Does a battery save money in Loveland?
Not much on the bill, because exports already carry forward kWh for kWh. The value is backup power.
Does Loveland offer a battery rebate?
We haven’t confirmed one. A panel-upgrade rebate may apply if the battery requires a 200-amp service — check with Loveland Water and Power.
