What the rebate pays on the batteries we install
At $300 per kWh: Powerwall 3 (13.5 kWh), about $4,050; Enphase at 10 kWh, about $3,000; SigEnergy at 9 kWh, about $2,700, or $5,400 with a second 9 kWh module. The battery rebate caps at $6,000, and solar plus battery rebates together cap at $7,500.
Stack that with Colorado’s 10% battery income-tax credit for tax years through 2026 and the state sales-tax exemption on batteries, and the net cost drops substantially. As of September 2026; verify current terms.
Program fine print
The battery must be paired with solar and be at least 6 kWh. The same contractor, equipment and six-month installation rules apply as for the solar rebate. We haven’t confirmed 2026 deadlines or remaining budget, so we check before quoting.

Net metering, in plain English
