What does the second opinion check?
Price per watt (the fairest way to compare quotes of different sizes), the equipment, how the system is sized against your usage, the promised production, financing terms like dealer fees and lease escalators, warranties, and which incentives the quote counts.
What's the most common problem you see in 2026 quotes?
Quotes that still count the 30% federal residential solar tax credit. It ended for homeowner-owned systems placed in service after December 31, 2025, so any “net cost” or payback built on it is wrong. We flag it automatically.
Will you just tell me to switch to you?
No. If your quote is fair and the equipment is good, we’ll tell you so. If we can do better, we’ll show you a side-by-side with real numbers for your roof.
