Information you give us: name, phone, email, address or ZIP, and project details you choose to share in forms, the estimate quiz or calculators (for example bill range, utility, roof age, timeline, financing interest and EV or battery plans).

Consent records: when you submit a form we store the exact consent language shown, the date and time, your IP address and your browser’s user-agent, as proof of your consent to be contacted.

Attribution cookie: a first-party cookie (acs_attr, 90 days) records how you found us — campaign tags such as UTM parameters and Google Ads click IDs (gclid), the referring site and your landing page — so we know which marketing works. We may upload click IDs to Google Ads to measure conversions.

Browser storage: we store small flags locally (for example, that you already saw a pop-up or unlocked a checklist).

If you upload a bill, the file is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to extract usage information and is not stored by us. We instruct the system not to extract names, account numbers or service addresses. We keep only anonymous usage statistics (whether a read succeeded, the utility, and processing time). Extracted numbers stay in your browser unless you submit them to us.

If you enter an address in our Solar Studio, it is sent to the U.S. Census Geocoder to find coordinates; the coordinates are used to look up your utility territory (Colorado Energy Office map) and modeled solar production (NREL PVWatts). We do not store the address unless you submit a form.

To respond to you, prepare estimates and proposals, schedule site visits, operate and improve the site, measure advertising, and comply with law. We contact you by phone, text or email only as you consented: By submitting, you agree that AI Colorado Solar (operated by Jeff Bunge Solar LLC, dba Discovery Clean Energy) may contact you at the number and email provided, including by phone calls and text messages that may use automated technology or prerecorded messages, about your solar, battery, or EV-charging project. We do not sell your personal information or share it with other installers. We use service providers who process data for us (web hosting on Amazon Web Services, email delivery via Amazon SES, AI extraction via Anthropic, and advertising measurement via Google). We may disclose information if required by law.

Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts. Email info@discoverycleanenergy.com to access, correct or delete your information or to opt out of calls and emails. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the site still works without the attribution cookie.

We keep lead records as long as needed for the purposes above and our legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Data is stored on servers we control with access limited to our team.

This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
